Three years ago, Stef Knaepkens was the co-founder of the management consultancy company Kite Consultants, specialised in designing and managing transformation projects in service companies. He is also a lecturer at the IVPV (Instituut voor Permanente Vorming – the Institute for Continuing Education), where he teaches IT & Business to civil engineers. In addition Knaepkens gives lectures on change management, culture and cultural change within high-tech environments, outsourcing and IT governance & alignment.
At SD Worx, Stef Knaepkens will in the first instance report to Dirk Verhofstadt, International Coordination Director. “I will continue to set-up our International Business Unit in the near future together with Stef,” says Verhofstadt. “In that Business Unit we will bring together the customer related side of our international systems and service platforms. Once this is fully operational, Stef will report directly to Bart Alkemade, our General International Manager. From then on I will focus on R&D and the general development of our international systems and Stef will focus on the relationship with the customers and customer-specific developments.”
