Emeralds and Exhibits: We’re ready for HR Tech World 2017

23 February 2017

It’s now less than a month until HR Tech World 2017 at the ExCel in London, and this year over 3,500 delegates are expected to attend the two-day event on 21 and 22 March. It’s the third consecutive year that the heavyweight venue will play host to the UK’s largest HR Tech event, with an impressive attendee list featuring 82 of the FTSE 100, as well as celebrity keynote speakers.

The SD Worx team will of course be amongst those attending the 2017 event – as well as being an Emerald sponsor and exhibitor – and we’re very excited to immerse ourselves in the industry’s latest trends and developments.

In addition to being on hand to meet and greet delegates at stand 204, our Global Head of Solutions, Mike Worthington, will be speaking at HR Tech World. As a dedicated advocate for global innovation in the HR technology marketplace, Mike’s primary role at SD Worx is to ensure our products and services are aligned with both evolving macro-environmental factors and customer requirements.

Mike will demonstrate how ‘Payroll Work for your Global Business’ to the stage on Tuesday the 21st of March in room 4, Level 3 at 14:05-14:25 on day one, following in the fresh footsteps of an impressive group of speakers that include Sir Ken Robinson, one of the most popular TED speakers of all time. Sir Ken Robinson will take up one of the event’s hotly anticipated keynote sessions – a position previously held by Sir Richard Branson – and is one of the world’s elite thinkers on creativity and innovation.

During his talk, Mike will discuss our global services using the payroll & HR platform called Dayforce HCM, and will also provide a brief demo outlining how it can help businesses to more effectively manage, view and analyse their payroll data on a global scale. Do come along to his session to find out more!

One of our customers, Boston Scientific, will also be speaking about SD Worx at HR Tech World and is set to provide valuable insight into the benefits that ‘going global’ can bring to multinational organisations in a payroll context. The presentation will be given by Mairéad Honan, Process Improvement Project Manager-HR Europe, HRSS & Payroll in Room 6, Level 3, at 12:05-12:25 on Wednesday (22nd March), and promises some innovative food for thought.

Speaking of innovation, SD Worx’s very own robot, HARRI (Human Advisory Resource Robotic Interface), will also be gracing us with his presence at HR Tech World. With sophisticated advancements in robotics now firmly in play around the globe, the concept of robots shaping the future world of work is a hot topic of discussion in our industry. HARRI loves visitors and is expected to provide quite a talking point at the show – do drop by and say hello, he’s really very friendly!

If you aren’t attending HR Tech World London this year but would still like to learn more about our global payroll solution, it would still be great to hear from you – please email WeAreGlobal@sdworx.com for more information or to arrange a meeting with our informed team.
