Four out of ten European employees do not have enough influence in the workplace

London, 24 April 2018 - Four out of ten (43%) European employees feel that they do not have sufficient influence in the company where they work, indicating that over half (57%) do feel they have influence in their workplace. Employees in the Netherlands and Luxembourg state that they have the most say, whilst over half of Austrian and Belgian employees believe they have little impact. 65% of European employees also feel strongly involved in their organisation.

Lush entrusts its payroll to SD Worx

London, Thursday 5 April 2018. SD Worx, a leading provider of global Payroll & HR services, has been chosen by cosmetics retailer Lush to run the company’s payroll. SD Worx will start with payroll operations for 4,500 employees, including all 102 of the Lush stores across the UK, its manufacturing, support and digital teams, as well as for 300 employees in the manufacturing arm of the business in Germany. Upon successful implementation, there is the option of expanding the deployment to further global markets that are reviewing their payroll offering, with Lush’s UK team often leading the way in such initiatives.

SD Worx posts strong figures in 2017

SD Worx Group, a leading provider of global Payroll & HR services, achieved strong results in 2017. Turnover increased from €397 million in 2016 to almost €443 million in 2017. EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes) climbed from €35.2 million to €46.6 million in 2017. EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) rose from €46.8 million to €55.2 million in 2017.

Dr. Mark Eger joins SD Worx as Vice-President Germany

Antwerp, 22 March 2018 – Dr. Mark Eger will join SD Worx on April 9th as Vice-President of SD Worx Germany. Mark is joining SD Worx from Tata Consultancy Services, where he was Head of Business Process Services in Switzerland. Although his background is mainly in finance, he is also very familiar with HR, as in previous positions with the insurer Allianz and consultancy firm KPMG, he set up a number of shared-service environments for finance, HR and operations. Dr. Mark Eger will be a member of the SD Worx Group Executive Committee and report directly to CEO Steven Van Hoorebeke
