SD Worx sells ASPEX to Trustteam

no-alt

SD Worx has sold ASPEX to Trustteam, a Belgian IT partner for SMEs. Aspex has been helping clients migrate their systems to the cloud for over fifteen years. It is particularly specialised in the public cloud, to which more and more companies are turning in order to keep their ever-increasing amounts of data safe. ASPEX's core business has little to do with that of SD Worx and in Trustteam we have found a partner who can further expand the scale of ASPEX.

With over 15 years of experience in application hosting, ASPEX has become the reference for Software-as-Service (SaaS) and MS Azure Public Cloud solutions in the Benelux. The mission: to set up a carefree IT infrastructure tailored for the customer, with guaranteed maximum uptime.

Constant growth has been the guiding principle for Trustteam since its establishment in 2002 by CEO Stijn Vandeputte. Over the last two years, this vision has been further underlined by the acquisitions of Nexis (Wavre), Compuboek (Wevelgem) and Firmware (Nazareth). This went hand in hand with the further development and expansion of Trustteam in France, where they recently announced the acquisition of TL-systèmes. Trustteam currently has nine offices, including four in Belgium, four in France and one in Romania, employing a team of around 300 specialists.

"With these acquisitions, Trustteam aims to provide the full range of IT services. For Trustteam, constant innovation and development also means discovering new know-how. By strengthening ourselves with new specialist teams, we can always guarantee the best knowledge and service. The acquisition of ASPEX fits perfectly into this growth story", says Stijn Vandeputte, CEO of Trustteam.

Trustteam helps companies with their digitalisation. It has two of its own data centres (ISO 27001) and offers its 6,500 customers a total package of hardware and software (ZenSoft ERP/Accountancy, Myzen digital scanning, Health at Work, CRM and customisation), mainly in-house. It also offers Voipplay, a proprietary VOIP platform fully controlled by API. Trustteam also carries out security audits and supports companies via specific software to raise awareness among end users to reduce the risk of ransom attacks. Trustteam has 24/7 support.

A takeover price will not be disclosed.
