Cathy Geerts, new Chief HR Officer at SD Worx

Antwerp, 29 November 2019 – Cathy Geerts has commenced her role as Chief HR Officer at HR service provider SD Worx. In her new position, Cathy Geerts will join the SD Worx Executive Committee and report directly to CEO Kobe Verdonck.

As CHRO, Cathy Geerts will monitor and guide the various facets of SD Worx's HR management. She succeeds Hilde Haems in this position, with the latter having since joined the listed holding company Ackermans & van Haaren as its Chief Human Capital Officer.

    Cathy has 20 years of experience in HR. After obtaining a degree in romance languages, she completed her MBA in business management. She also holds a Master's degree in compensation & benefits and HR from the Vlerick Management School. She began her career as an employee benefits consultant, first for insurance broker Vanbreda Risk & Benefits and then at AON Consulting. Cathy subsequently worked at various HR jobs at Umicore, Nyrstar and Alpro. In 2014, Cathy joined SD Worx. She started as the HR Manager for Talent, Reward, Operations & Analytics, before becoming the HR Director for SD Worx Belgium in 2017.
