SD Worx acquires Polish SAP HR market leader Gavdi Poland and strengthens payroll & HR capabilities in Poland

SD Worx, the leading European HR and payroll solutions provider, has acquired Gavdi Poland, the market leader of SAP HR solutions in Poland, from the Danish Gavdi Group. Gavdi Poland, headquartered in Warsaw, provides SAP HCM (Human Capital Management), SAP SuccessFactors consultancy and application management services. The company has also own developed solutions that are compatible with SAP HR software and extend its capabilities. Through this acquisition SD Worx reinforces its SAP HR capabilities to help customers in the mid-market and enterprise segments with HR and payroll solutions.
Gavdi Poland is the market leader in SAP HR solutions in Poland, with a complete portfolio of cloud-based and on-premise solutions. The company was founded in 2006 as a subsidiary of the Danish Gavdi Group. Today it supports more than 250 customers, mostly local mid-sized and large Polish organisations such as Raben Group, DPD Polska, Canal+, Ciech Group and PKO Bank Polski. Gavdi Poland employs over 120 SAP payroll and HCM experts and has offices in Katowice, Poznań, Warsaw (HQ) and Wroclaw. In 2022 the company realised revenues of c. EUR 8 million.
With the acquisition SD Worx not only reinforces its SAP HR capabilities but it also expands its footprint in the dynamically growing Polish market, where it has been present since 2021. More than 220 SD Worx colleagues in Poland support local and international customers with HR and payroll solutions. SD Worx sees significant growth opportunities in Poland, the country with the largest population in Central & Eastern Europe and currently the sixth largest economy in Europe.

The management team of Gavdi Poland, Teresa Olszewska, Sławomir Stępień and Szymon Knobloch, will continue to lead the company, as part of SD Worx. As from 2024 the company will be integrated under the SD Worx SAP solutions brand.
The price of the acquisition will not be disclosed.
