Four out of ten companies in Europe do not have an active, neutral recruitment policy

21 May is World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, but where are we with paying attention to diversity in the workplace? Today, six out of ten companies in Europe are committed to an active, neutral recruitment policy. A representative study by SD Worx, European market leader in HR and payroll services, across 4,371 companies of all sizes and active in a range of sectors shows that they are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion when hiring new staff. Yet there is still a long way to go when it comes to following up and reporting on diversity goals, even though this is considered particularly important by employees under the age of 30 entering the labour market.

The leading European payroll and HR services provider SD Worx has signed a partnership with PayGroup to support its European multi-country customers having branches in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East region. PayGroup started operating in 2005 and is one of the top three independent payroll and HR providers in Asia-Pacific, providing mission critical services across 82 countries.


Nearly four in ten European white-collar workers can choose where and when to work

Just over half of European white-collar workers say they have a flexible work arrangement. Within certain limits, employees are given more freedom, such as staggered working hours. Half the white-collar workers surveyed indicated that tracking their hours worked helps them maintain a good work-life balance. These were the results of a recent study by European HR and payroll service provider SD Worx.

More than 33 percent of European companies struggle to keep their payroll in order due to the complexity of local legislation, the new SD Worx Payroll Proficiency Index has found. In addition, research shows that more than 4 out of 10 companies are now exclusively using cloud technology for their payroll process.
