Around 18 percent of employees in Belgium, Germany, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom ended up at their current employer through a personal acquaintance.

Brussels, 25 May 2021 – A survey conducted by HR and payroll specialist SD Worx across companies in eight European countries shows that one in four companies have little or no insight into their HRM and personnel costs, while almost three in ten companies monitor staff efficiency very little or not at all.

One year after the coronavirus was first reported in Europe, HR and payroll specialist SD Worx looks at the damage in the business world. It asked employers in eight different countries about the impact on aspects, such as general operations, the financial results and employees' mood and well-being.

Thirty per cent of employees believe that employers do not provide enough opportunities for employees to continue to develop. Only slightly more than half (53.4%) indicate that they can decide for themselves which training courses they may/can attend.
